Frequently Asked Questions
How is it done?
We first design a custom artwork to suit your space. Once approved, we schedule time for painting. The painting process is done by hand and typically takes between 1 and 3 days (depending on size and complexity). We use high quality road-marking paint, which is rated up to 2-3 million vehicle passes. The finished artwork is incredibly hard wearing, UV resistant and power-wash safe.
How long will it take to install?
Depending on the size and complexity of the artwork, we normally advise 1 to 3 days. We always aim to schedule jobs on weekends, to ensure minimal impact to school operations.
Is it non-slip?
Yes, all our paint is non-slip, with light aggregate added to ensure grip even in wet weather. Additional aggregate can be added if an ultra-tough surface is required.
Will it wear out?
We use high quality road-marking paint for all our artworks. Rated up to 2-3 million vehicle passes, our paint is highly durable for everyday use in schoolyards.
Can it be cleaned?
Yes, our hard-wearing paint is safe for soaps and pressure washing. We recommend keeping the pressure washer at a reasonable distance (30cm+), to ensure maximum lifetime.
How long will it take to dry?
Our artworks are safe against foot traffic and general play within 24 hours and will fully cure within 5 days of application. We recommend letting the artworks cure properly before driving any cars or heavy machinery over them.
Will it peel up over time?
No, our artworks are painted - not heat transferred. This completely eliminates peeling and de-lamination. The artworks also sit flush on the ground, as no adhesives or vinyls are used.
